My name is Lila Castaneda. I am a photographer and printer based in the Southwest, USA.
My work features personal mementos, religious iconography, commonplace objects, and the human form. I love to remove context from images and I value how ambiguity plays a role in my work.
I use a hands-on, traditional process of analog film and darkroom silver gelatin printing. My physical prints range from 4x5, 8x10, and 11x14.
